Q&A
Cherry Blossom Photoshoot FAQ
- QWhen is the best time to see the cherry blossoms?
- AIn Tokyo, Yokohama, Nagoya and Osaka, Somei-yoshino cherry trees are usually at their best from late March to early April. Early-blooming varieties such as Kawazu-zakura bloom from late February to early March, and double-flowered yaezakura from mid to late April, so the best timing depends on the variety and location. The timing varies a little each year.
- QHow far in advance should we book?
- APopular seasons such as the cherry blossoms tend to fill up quickly, so booking 3–6 months ahead is best if your travel dates allow it. Depending on availability, a shorter notice may also be possible, so please feel free to contact us.
- QDo you have English-speaking staff?
- AFor online consultations, an English-speaking interpreter will join to support you. For email inquiries, our staff will respond in English.
- QWhich cities can we choose for a cherry blossom photoshoot?
- AYou can choose from our studios in Tokyo, Yokohama, Nagoya and Osaka. Each city's plan page introduces the locations available there.
- QCan we take photos in both a wedding dress and a kimono?
- AYes. You can choose a combination plan with a studio shoot and a cherry blossom location shoot, or a location plan with both Western and kimono outfits. We will suggest the best option for your schedule.
- QAre facility fees and transportation included?
- AFacility usage fees and taxi fares to the location are not included in the plan price. The amount depends on the location, and we will explain the details during your consultation.
