A Treasured Family Memory in Place of a Wedding Ceremony – A Traditional Japanese Photoshoot at Koishikawa Korakuen Garden

PLAN Please tell us about the plan you used.

TOKYO Japanese-style Location Photo

POINT Please share your feedback and what you liked about your photoshoot at Wedding Avenue.
We wanted to have our traditional Japanese wedding photos taken in a beautiful garden, so we chose Koishikawa Korakuen Garden, which is also conveniently located near the studio.

We also chose this studio because it was spacious enough to comfortably accommodate a photoshoot with our one-year-old child. We had heard that the studio had recently opened, which was another reason we decided to book here.

For our traditional Japanese photoshoot, the staff dressed us in our kimonos with great care and attention to detail. Since we weren't used to being photographed, the photographer kindly guided us through the poses, which helped us feel comfortable throughout the session.

For our Western-style photoshoot, I wore both a wedding dress and a colored gown, and we were able to take photos in a variety of styles and poses.

I was also very happy that the hair and makeup team recreated my desired look so beautifully, taking my personal preferences into consideration.
REASON Please tell us the reason or occasion for your photoshoot at Wedding Avenue.
Since our marriage and the birth of our child happened around the same time, we weren't able to have a wedding ceremony. We wanted to create some special memories, so we looked at your website and social media and felt that we would love to have our photos taken by your studio.

During our initial consultation, the staff were very kind and attentive, which helped us get a clear idea of what the photoshoot would be like.

We also fell in love with the beautiful shiromuku (traditional white bridal kimono) at first sight, which made us even more excited to book our photoshoot.
FROM
STAFF
A word of thanks from the staff.

Thank you so much for choosing Wedding Avenue Minami Aoyama!

We are truly honored that you chose us to capture such precious memories, especially as you were unable to hold a wedding ceremony due to the timing of your marriage and the birth of your child.

At Koishikawa Korakuen Garden, you looked absolutely beautiful in the shiromuku bridal kimono you fell in love with at first sight. It was wonderful to capture so many special moments with your little one, surrounded by the garden’s beautiful greenery♪
Your family’s natural smiles were truly heartwarming♡

We also sincerely appreciate your kind words about our dressing, hair and makeup, and photography teams. We are delighted that you felt comfortable and enjoyed both your traditional Japanese and Western-style photoshoots.

We hope these photographs will remain treasured memories for your family for many years to come.

Wishing you and your family a lifetime of love, happiness, and wonderful memories♡
