LOCATION GUIDE

Doudantei is a historic wooden residence in Nagoya with tatami rooms, shoji-lit windows and a traditional irori hearth, where couples in montsuki and colorful uchikake can sit face to face as if stepping back into old Japan. Long wooden hallways and paper umbrellas add depth to each frame, while the garden outside glows green in early summer and fiery red in autumn. Dresses and tuxedos also stand out beautifully against the dark timber for a pre-wedding photoshoot in Japan.
