About Tokugawaen (Nagoya)
LOCATION GUIDE
At Tokugawaen in Nagoya, the shoot usually begins in front of the stately Black Gate before moving into the garden around Ryusen Lake. Stone steps lead down to the water, and wide shots that take in the lakeside pavilion show off the scale of the landscape. A wooden bridge with stone posts and willows by the water add a softer, leafy mood. With a formal gate and open lakeside views in one visit, it is well suited to traditional Japanese wedding portraits.
