This tree, several times taller than a person, was toppled by Typhoon No. 21 in 2018, which caused significant damage in the Kinki region.
Part of the tree is preserved to showcase the force of nature at the time of the disaster.

With a trunk circumference of about 3.1 meters, the exposed roots are rarely seen and give a sense of the tree’s strength.
