It’s a colorful, eclectic mix of shopping and entertainment, loved by people of all ages!

All of Osu retains its charming, retro feel throughout.

The nostalgic, retro ambiance is simply enchanting—it’s like stepping into a classic movie scene!
Capture your moments with a timeless, emotional vibe that feels both serene and profound.

Next up: the secret charms of Osu’s back alleys!
Step just a little off the main streets, and you’ll discover even more wonders.

This photo was taken in front of “Tomoshibi Apartment,” a cozy café and vintage shop.
With its neon signs and retro renovation of a 40-year-old izakaya, it offers an irresistible nostalgic vibe.

Faced with competition from nearby entertainment areas like Sakae and Nishiki, Osu embraced subculture trends—
bringing in card shops, gaming stores, themed cafés, and even foreign influences to reinvent itself!

It’s a location where you can shoot both nostalgic and cutting-edge photos in the same place—one of Osu’s biggest charms!

Osu is also known as a foodie paradise!
With countless eateries competing for attention, it’s the perfect place for a “snacking stroll.”

Unique sweets shops, year-round shaved ice cafés, and famous Taiwanese fried chicken stalls—you’ll find all kinds of treats perfect for photo ops!

One must-visit is Shinjaku Main Store, known for their nostalgic, sweet-and-savory mitarashi dango, a beloved traditional taste!

Holding your favorite snacks while smiling naturally makes for adorable, candid wedding photos!

One common concern with location shoots is rain.
A rainy day could disrupt your schedule, especially if you’re on a tight timeline… it’s heartbreaking!

But don’t worry—most of Osu Shopping Street is covered by arcades!
You can continue your shoot even on rainy days, stress-free. Plus, in the hot summer, it provides much-needed shade too!

Look out for the giant Maneki Neko (Lucky Cat) statue inside the arcade!
