New Pre-Wedding Photography Spot: “Furukawa Art Museum”

Art × Tradition

We had the pleasure of doing our very first pre-wedding photoshoot at the Furukawa Art Museum and its annex, the Tame Saburō Memorial Hall!

Inside the museum, you are surrounded by the world of art.
The Tame Saburō Memorial Hall, on the other hand, is an impressive example of Japanese architecture, nestled within a breathtaking traditional garden.

Located in Chikusa Ward, Aichi Prefecture, this venue allows for a wide variety of scenes, creating wedding photos full of richness and diversity.

A Space That Feels Like Time Travel

It’s a place where you’ll feel as though you’ve slipped back in time—perfect for capturing elegant, traditional pre-wedding shots.
Imagine a beam of light streaming through the window as you pose in shiromuku (traditional white kimono), framed by a beautiful bamboo grove.

With grand Japanese architecture as your backdrop, you can take stunning photos in traditional attire.

Towering Bamboo

The towering bamboo in this garden is simply awe-inspiring.
Its refined design elevates the atmosphere, and the sense of style truly excites you.

Bamboo is one of the most popular backgrounds for pre-wedding photos, and here, it adds the perfect touch of elegance.

The Tea Room

The tea room, always a favorite for traditional wedding photography, shines especially beautifully here.

With its high ceilings and open, airy feel, the tea room provides a sophisticated space where the stately garden enhances the couple’s presence.

The unique atmosphere of the art museum adds an extra layer of charm to the white kimono and black montsuki.

Relaxed Photos with Matcha

Pre-wedding photography pairs perfectly with the refined experience of enjoying authentic matcha.
The stylish, modern-Japanese spaces are so captivating you’ll want to pause and admire them.

Capturing wedding photos while sipping matcha in this serene setting is the ultimate luxury.

How does it sound?
Being so close to Sky Wedding, this is definitely a must-recommend spot!
