Introducing Popular Pre-Wedding Photo Spots at Kuraki Park!

Hello to everyone reading our blog!
Today, we’d like to introduce Kuraki Park!

Kuraki Park stretches across both Isogo Ward and Konan Ward, covering 230,000 square meters.
It features an open plaza, lawn area, children’s playground, a large pond, plum grove, and walking paths where visitors can enjoy forest bathing.

On the northern side of the park lies the Kuraki Noh Stage Garden. This Noh stage was originally built in Hibiya in 1917 (Taisho 6) and later relocated here in 1965 (Showa 40).
Photo sessions are also possible at this Noh stage, which we’ll introduce in the latter part of this blog!

Please stay with us until the end (^^).

1. In the Japanese-Style Room

Recommended point #1 for pre-wedding photos at Kuraki Park

At Kuraki Park, you can take photos not only in the garden but also inside a traditional Japanese-style room.
With the scent of tatami and the warmth of wood, it’s a soothing space where you can capture popular formal sitting shots (seiza) with a hanging scroll as the backdrop.

You’ll be able to relax and enjoy your shoot in an elegant and calming atmosphere, perfect for your special day♡

2. On the Noh Stage

Recommended point #2 for pre-wedding photos at Kuraki Park

While the Japanese-style room is a popular choice for traditional photos, Kuraki Park also offers the rare opportunity to shoot on a Noh stage!
Few venues allow this, making it ideal for couples who want unique photos unlike anyone else’s.

The Noh stage provides a traditional Japanese atmosphere, allowing you to capture rare and special images.
It’s also possible to shoot in both the Japanese-style room and on the Noh stage!

3. Japanese Garden

So far, we’ve introduced indoor photo spots, but the outdoor locations are just as stunning♡

Kuraki Park is vast, and within it you’ll find a Japanese garden that is perfect for traditional wedding photography.

With a pond, gazebo, and more, you can stroll through the garden, relax, and enjoy a shoot surrounded by nature♪

4. On the Bridge

Within the park’s Japanese garden, there is a striking vermilion bridge.

The vivid red of the bridge stands out beautifully against the greenery, adding brightness to the calm setting.
A couple in kimono on the vermilion bridge is sure to make a stunning photo!

5. With Cherry Blossoms

Kuraki Park is filled with greenery year-round, but its atmosphere changes completely with each season.

There is even a spot known as the Cherry Blossom Forest, making it possible to capture gorgeous photos with sakura♡
As a popular hanami (cherry blossom viewing) spot, you can enjoy both the blossoms and your shoot at the same time.

Afterward, it’s also fun to come back for hanami together and reminisce about your special day♡

6. With Autumn Leaves

In addition to cherry blossoms, Kuraki Park is also stunning during autumn foliage season.

Traditional wedding photos in the Japanese garden look spectacular amidst the vibrant colors of fall.
Brilliant shades of red, orange, and yellow leaves create a breathtaking backdrop.

The sight of the two of you walking among the autumn colors looks just like a painting.
