Every year, Nakanoshima Park becomes famous for its sparkling Christmas market, complete with illuminated arcades and projection mapping on the Central Public Hall.
But in fact, it’s not just a winter attraction—this is a popular photo location you can enjoy all year round!

In recent years, Nakanoshima Park has also been the venue for many events, but it’s actually a historic park, first established in 1891 as Osaka’s very first public park!

Beloved for generations, the park also features a rose garden that can be enjoyed in two peak seasons, from around May and again from around October. During these seasons, we highly recommend capturing not only your pre-wedding photos but also romantic shots with the roses (^^♪

Nakanoshima Park is located between the Dojima and Tosabori Rivers, and right at the entrance, you’ll find a charming little path where you can almost hear the gentle flow of water.
Surrounded by brown brick walls, the area gives off a sophisticated, stylish atmosphere.
Although the park is set in the middle of the city, you can still enjoy natural photo sessions filled with greenery and water.
The rose garden, featuring about 310 varieties and 3,700 rose bushes, blends beautifully with nearby retro buildings and has been selected as one of the “Top 100 Green Spaces of Osaka.”

For those wanting rose photos, the best season is early May to early June

Here you’ll find a charming stone wall background near the Osaka Prefectural Nakanoshima Library.

The vast lawn plaza at Nakanoshima Park offers a completely different feel from the rose garden and library areas.

In June, hydrangea shots are especially popular.
