Introducing Popular Pre-wedding Location Photos at Nakanoshima Park!

Hello, this is Wedding Avenue Shinsaibashi ☆彡
Today, we’re excited to introduce Western-style photo weddings at Nakanoshima Park, a chic and retro spot that appears right in the middle of Osaka’s office district~!

Every year, Nakanoshima Park becomes famous for its sparkling Christmas market, complete with illuminated arcades and projection mapping on the Central Public Hall.
But in fact, it’s not just a winter attraction—this is a popular photo location you can enjoy all year round!

In recent years, Nakanoshima Park has also been the venue for many events, but it’s actually a historic park, first established in 1891 as Osaka’s very first public park!

Beloved for generations, the park also features a rose garden that can be enjoyed in two peak seasons, from around May and again from around October. During these seasons, we highly recommend capturing not only your pre-wedding photos but also romantic shots with the roses (^^♪

Today, we’ll introduce 10 pre-wedding photo spots within this historic Nakanoshima Park—please stay with us until the end!
Let’s get started (^^)/

1. Strolling Along the Waterside Path

Nakanoshima Park is located between the Dojima and Tosabori Rivers, and right at the entrance, you’ll find a charming little path where you can almost hear the gentle flow of water.
Surrounded by brown brick walls, the area gives off a sophisticated, stylish atmosphere.
Although the park is set in the middle of the city, you can still enjoy natural photo sessions filled with greenery and water.
The rose garden, featuring about 310 varieties and 3,700 rose bushes, blends beautifully with nearby retro buildings and has been selected as one of the “Top 100 Green Spaces of Osaka.”
Shooting in your wedding dress among the colorful roses in the brick flowerbeds will make you feel just like a princess (><)♡
For those wanting rose photos, the best season is early May to early June

2. Behind the Osaka Prefectural Nakanoshima Library

Here you’ll find a charming stone wall background near the Osaka Prefectural Nakanoshima Library.
The greenery adds a touch of color to the shot, creating a sweet, picturesque scene.
With fewer passersby, you can enjoy taking photos with just the two of you.

3. A Romantic Moment on the Lawn Plaza

The vast lawn plaza at Nakanoshima Park offers a completely different feel from the rose garden and library areas.
Here, you can enjoy endless grass fields, seasonal flowers, and shimmering reflections on the river’s surface.
The tall trees give the impression of being in nature far from the city ◎
In June, hydrangea shots are especially popular.

4. Sitting by the Brick Flowerbeds

This spot near the rose garden, surrounded by vines, gives off a fairy-tale-like atmosphere.
It’s the perfect whimsical background for Western-style outfits.

5. The Secret Underground Passage by Sakaisuji Bridge

Beneath the bridge connecting the rose garden to the Central Public Hall lies a quiet underground passage.
Though narrow and fenced, its dimly lit atmosphere makes it an unexpectedly unique photo location.

6. On Barazono Bridge

From Barazono Bridge, set in the middle of the business district, you’ll capture dynamic shots framed by city buildings and the expansive sky.
A blend of city and nature that’s quite rare—this is one of Nakanoshima Park’s signature spots☆彡
